The Pito is the ultimate stovetop kettle, and it has been designed by Frank Gehry. Both the whistle and the handle have been crafted from mahogany, giving the appearance of two darting fishes. The melody produced by the whistle is likewise peculiar, as it sounds like a whale’s song. Gehry has transformed a kitchen utensil into a fascinating poetic object.
