This amazing little shepherd’s hut was constructed by local craftsmen out of a nearby Douglas fir, and sits in a secluded orchard looking out over a beautiful natural meadow of oxeye daisies and bird’s-foot trefoil. We absolutely love how well our tiny wood burner stands out against the light interior of this quintessentially British shepherd’s hut, and the wicker basket of logs to fuel our little wood burning stove adds a charming touch to this cosy fireplace. With a shallow stream at one end of the field and a wild pond close by, you can stay up huddled next to our tiny log burner listening to the gentle running water, or keeping an eye out for wildlife such as foxes, badgers and deer that pass through the field that this cosy shepherd’s hut is nestled within.
