HETAS Took The Hobbit To The InstallerShow!
In June 2024 HETAS exhibited at the InstallerSHOW at the NEC Birmingham, and we are very proud that HETAS chose to take our Hobbit SE stove to display on their stand! After having a visit from some of the team at HETAS and discussing displaying our stove at the show, they believed our stove was ideal for their stand.
The InstallerSHOW expands across three days of live content, new and upcoming technologies and exclusive deals featuring over 600 exhibitors specialising in the latest heat, water, air and energy products. HETAS were there presenting the solid fuel and biomass industry at the show, and had some great conversations with installers, consumers and businesses from all over the world.
The Hobbit SE and the Little Range have met the HETAS Cleaner Choice Scheme. Our stoves both meet the current requirements for exemption and have attained listing on the DEFRA website. They’ve also achieved at least a 50% improvement on current particulate limits for exemption.
Speaking at the conclusion of the show, HETAS Head of Communications Serena Sumner said:
“We look forward to InstallerSHOW every year and HETAS is extremely pleased to see the continued growth of the show. The HETAS stand was exceptionally busy over the three days, and the team had the opportunity to network with our registered businesses and individuals in the wider heating sector.
There was a lot of interest among visitors in our industry-leading competent person schemes, with many installers looking at opportunities to expand their businesses. Even those we spoke to outside the sector were interested in learning more from our expert team that attended, whether it be biomass maintenance, chimney sweeping, or even how to improve footfall on their retail premises.
We also had some positive discussions regarding net zero, air quality, government policy, and the ways consumers can strive to make cleaner choices – it is great to see these topics at the forefront of minds as we drive industry towards a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.
I’d like to extend my thanks to Salamander Stoves, Rodstation, and Specflue for their generosity – their additions to our stand were eye-catching and many individuals outside our industry stopped to discuss what we had on display.”
