We have designed two different shepherd's hut flue kits for installing your small stove. Over recent years, shepherds’ huts have rapidly grown in popularity as a cute and fashionable tiny home. They can be placed in a beautiful meadow as a secluded holiday retreat, or they can even be used as a private, cosy little den in your own back garden where you can work, study or relax. Either way, installing a little wood burner in your shepherd’s hut will provide you with a stylish and attractive centrepiece, whilst also enabling this space to be used all year round due to the warmth and comfort that our small stove provides.
Although shepherds’ huts can vary considerably due to the variety of specifications and finishes which are available, the structural design underpinning these different models and variations often remains quite similar. This makes our little Hobbit stove easy to install, and we offer two different shepherd’s hut flue kits which make it even easier to install our little stove!
Shepherd’s Hut Flue Kit 1 has been designed to exit straight up through the roof of your shepherd’s hut, which is the most straightforward and affordable way to install our tiny stove in your small space. In contrast, Shepherd’s Hut Flue Kit 2 exits from the back of our small stove through the wall of your shepherd’s hut, before continuing straight up the side of your shepherd's hut. This installation kit frees up a substantial amount of space inside your shepherd’s hut, and it also liberates the top of the stove so that you have extra space to boil a kettle or to cook on your stovetop. You can see how other people have incorporated our small multi-fuel stove into the design of their shepherd’s hut by taking a look through some of our case studies.
Please note: It can be difficult to rigidly stick to the guidelines outlined in Part J Building Regulations when installing any stove into non-domestic settings, such as sheds, cabins, shepherds' huts, garden rooms, tiny homes, boats and other vehicles. Your installer will need to apply a degree of sensible flexibility when installing a stove into these settings.
Our flue kits have not been specifically designed to conform with Part J or other HETAS regulations. Before purchasing a flue kit, please confirm with your installer that they are happy to proceed with the parts listed.
