The spitfire stove thermometer is a helpful tool to see how hot you are burning your stove. The stove thermometer actually should more accurately be described as a stove ‘flue pipe’ thermometer as this is where it should be placed. i.e.. 6″ up the flue pipe. It is magnetic so will just stick to the flue pipe without needing a screw. This gives an idea of the temperature of the flue gases inside the pipe and shows an optimum range to operate the stove at to avoid creosoting the flue.
The target design looks quite unique and funky and brings a little splash of information as well as colour to proceedings.
