Mother Earth Fire Bowl
Original price was: £95.00.£69.95Current price is: £69.95.
Our Mother Earth Fire Bowl is another collaborative piece that we have made with Tati Dennehy, who is an incredibly talented local artist and sculptor. The fire bowl is the sister to our stovetop goddess – our first collaboration with Tati.
Tati’s beautiful hand-crafted design has been transformed into an ornate, solid piece of cast iron. This beautiful yet functional piece of art is incredibly durable and can comfortably withstand the heat of a good-sized fire.
Our fire bowl can be enjoyed all-year-round, whether you are looking to sit around the fire and toast marshmallows in the colder months, or if you want to stay warm late into the summer nights. This is a two-piece set – the fire bowl and stand are both included.
Dimensions:
- Approximately 44cm wide at the widest point.
- Approximately 20cm high when sitting on top of the stand.
- The stand measures approximately 31cm wide and 12cm high.
- Weighs approximately 16kg.
Please note that although the fire bowl is suitable for outdoor use and a special anti-rust coating has already been applied, the fire bowl is still susceptible to oxidisation if it is stored outside or subjected to damp, wet, or cold conditions.
Each fire bowl will also develop its own unique patina after a fire has been lit. This is purely cosmetic and we feel this only adds to the charm and story of each individual piece. This is a limited edition piece and there will be a limited run of this item.
Product description
Tati’s studio is tucked away on a beautiful spot of land on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, which is just a short drive away from our Devon workshop. Her amazing sculptures are all hand-built with coils of clay, and her artwork celebrates the human body in its many forms, with a particular focus on our connection with nature.
Tati’s astounding level of creativity has intertwined with our manufacturing expertise to create a beautiful and functional work of art! Tati’s magnificent artwork has now been immortalised in this gorgeous fire bowl. Aside from the functionality of this truly special piece, the figures’ content expression is enough to evoke a calm, uplifted feeling of happiness and joy! Tati has managed to create a design that radiates serenity, and their facial expression is grounded, humble yet powerful, with a beautifully modest sense of pride.
