Our cast iron baffle sits at the back of the firebox of your small stove, and it’s a consumable item, meaning that it’ll need to be replaced from time to time. The baffle diverts the gases that are released by your fire, and it increases the time it takes for them to exit your stove. This improves the efficiency of your Hobbit stove, Hobbit SE or Little Range, as it ensures your small wood burner stays hotter for longer.

Please choose what type of baffle you need below. The eco design version of our stove has two stainless steel sliding air controls at the front of the stove beneath the footplate, which is just under the bottom door. The pre-eco design version of our stove has a cast iron vent at the back of the stove in the top right-hand corner, which can be flicked left and right.
