Best Mini Log Burner for Van Builds
M2M Conversions chose to have the camper wood stove, The Hobbit Stove, for this campervan conversion. Our mini log burner for a van is the perfect size to not feel overwhelming in your small space, and with its 4.1kW output and cooking capabilities, it is the perfect off-grid companion. Our small camper wood stove is made from high-quality cast iron, making it extremely durable, hard wearing and retains heat for a very long time, even after the fire has gone out. Most campervan log burners are made of steel, a material that cannot match the heat retention when compared to cast iron – and when you are travelling in freezing temperatures, you need a heating source you know you can rely on!

Why choose The Hobbit mini log burner for your van
  • Small wood stove for camper – ideal for 4–6m vans
  • High quality cast iron – great heat retention
  • Minimal distance to combustibles
  • Very efficient with a small footprint
  • Heating, cooking and hot water capabilities

Installing a Small Wood Stove for a Camper

Our mini log burner for vans has found a home in thousands of campervan conversions over the past 15 years, acting as a primary heating source due to its off-grid nature. Measuring only 302mm wide, 355mm deep and 460mm high, The Hobbit has a unique ability to fit modestly into the smallest of spaces, making it a very popular choice for campervans such as this one. With the option of the heatshields, you can reduce the distance you will need from the stove to any combustibles from approximately 450mm to 150mm. With a choice of different small stove extras to choose from, you can modify your camper wood stove to suit your campervan however you desire!
