We have designed two different van or RV flue kits for installing your small wood stove into these types of vehicles. Vehicles such as vans and RV’s are a fantastic way to live off-grid and debt free, and you have the added benefit of being able to move your home almost anywhere you like! By installing our small multi-fuel stove in your van or RV, you’ll be able to stay warm and cosy wherever you go throughout the year.
When installing a small wood stove into any moving vehicle, you will need to ensure that your tiny wood burner is securely bolted down, and that your flue parts are well supported. There are a variety of flue systems that you can use, but our van or RV flue kits are well suited to most vehicles. If you would like to have different lengths of single wall or twin wall flue, or if you think you might need any additional support components, then we offer a bespoke flue consultancy service free of charge. If you email us some pictures of your vehicle, a floor plan, and your vehicle's ceiling height, then we will be able to tailor an installation kit to your own specific needs!
Our first flue kit uses more single wall flue, which will radiate extra heat into the cabin of your van or RV. On the other hand, our second flue kit has more twin wall flue. This provides additional support to your flue system, and twin wall flue can be positioned closer to any combustible materials or windows.

Please note that our van or RV installation kits are not manufactured by Midtherm.
Please note: It can be difficult to rigidly stick to the guidelines outlined in Part J Building Regulations when installing any stove into non-domestic settings, such as sheds, cabins, shepherds' huts, garden rooms, tiny homes, boats and other vehicles. Your installer will need to apply a degree of sensible flexibility when installing a stove into these settings.
Our flue kits have not been specifically designed to conform with Part J or other HETAS regulations. Before purchasing a flue kit, please confirm with your installer that they are happy to proceed with the parts listed.
