The centre grate sits at the base of your fire, and at the heart of our small wood burning stoves. The slits enable a strong, continuous stream of air to flow directly into your fire, and it allows any piles of ash to gently fall through to be collected by the ash pan. This helps the fire in your small stove to burn cleanly and efficiently.
