Our decorative cast iron hat is perfect for the Hobbit stove and the Hobbit SE. The hat can be taken on and off the top of your small wood burning stove, and the outer lip sits neatly around the edge of your stovetop, keeping the hat securely in place.

This stove option adds a much more traditional look to your tiny wood burner, which makes it great for older fireplaces or ones with ornate period features. It has a durable cast iron construction, which adds approximately 10kg of portable thermal mass to your Hobbit stove. This means that our small wood burning stove will radiate even more heat, long after your fire has died down.

Small trays of food can be heated inside the decorative cast iron hat. You could also place a dish of water beneath the hat, or a mixture of water and essential oils, to humidify the room and to enjoy some stovetop aromatherapy.
