Our rear flue wedge option liberates the top of your small wood stove, so that you have much more space for boiling water in a stovetop kettle or for doing some stovetop cooking! This component has a solid cast iron construction, and it enables your flue pipes to be positioned 50mm closer to the back of the stove in comparison to a traditional 90 degree T and cap/rear exit kit. Using a 90 degree T and cap/rear exit kit adds 172mm of flue at the back of your stove, whereas this component takes up just 122mm of space.

The flue wedge comprises of a cast iron collar, which attaches to the 316 grade steel flue box at the rear outlet of the stove. Another cast iron collar attaches to the top of the flue box and accepts the 100mm diameter single wall flue or single-to-twin adaptor. The rear flue wedge sits neatly at the back of your stove and it leaves the entirety of the stove top free! This gives you a lot more potential to use your small wood burning stove for a wide range of different things, other than just keeping you warm!

Please note: Our rear flue wedge is classed as single wall flue, which requires at least 300mm of clearance away from combustible materials and 150mm away from shielded combustible materials. The rear flue wedge cannot be used with our Little Range, which is top-exit only.
