Our heatshields for the Hobbit stove or the Hobbit SE are perfect if you’re installing your tiny wood burner into a particularly small space.

Our heatshields greatly reduce the distances that your stove can be placed next to combustible or non-combustible surfaces. You can click here for the distances that you will need to comply with when installing the Eco Design Hobbit stove or Hobbit SE.

These distances are measured from the body of the stove itself, rather than from the heatshields.

Please note that this listing is for one heatshield, the stove is not included.

If you purchase a Hobbit stove or a Hobbit SE with this listing, then the heatshields will be fitted to your stove for you. If you are ordering the heat shields on their own, then you will need to fit the heat shields to the stove yourself. This requires drilling and tapping into the sides of the stove, and this work should only be carried out by an experienced engineer.

Please let us know if you are fitting the heat shields to an older version of our stove, or the new Eco Design version, before you make your purchase. The rear heat shields are different for each stove.
