Vanfolk VW Campervan Conversion
A stunning VW campervan conversion by Vanfolk, which features our Eco Design small wood burning stove!
Our Hobbit stove has been incorporated into the design of this gorgeous little adventure-mobile by the lovely people over at Vanfolk! We absolutely love the new coffee-coloured interior of the cabin, and the vehicle is packed with the same great features that their other van conversions have to offer!
This 2015 medium-wheel-base campervan sleeps up to two people in its luxurious, king-sized width bed, but it can sleep up to three if you squeeze a little one in the middle! The cabinetry is all handmade from scratch, and its complete with a solid walnut worktop, table and windowsills.
The kitchen is kitted out with fireproof ceramic tiles, a baby Belfast sink, a 2-burner gas hob, a fridge, and a fresh water tank! It has plenty of storage space too, and the cosy reading lights make the van feel even more homely. The campervan has a Victron solar energy bluetooth smart system, 12v and 240v power, 110ah leisure battery charged via a split charge system, a battery monitor, an inverter, a mains hookup, as well as mains and USB sockets. These features, in addition to our Eco Design Hobbit stove, mean that this van is off-grid and winter-ready for an adventure at any time of the year!
Our small wood burner enables you to take a trip to the beach come rain or shine, and you’ll have peace of mind knowing that you can hop back inside the van to get warm and cosy again! There’s nothing more inviting than being able to bask in front of the flames in our tiny wood stove after a chilly walk or a dip in the sea.
Every little detail of this campervan conversion has been well-considered. There’s a nifty log store just beneath our small stove, so you’ll always have logs to hand, and there’s even a space to hang up our mini dustpan and brush set!
Here, Em and Simon have equipped their Hobbit stove with our heat shield option, so that our tiny wood stove can be installed into an especially tight space. A carbon monoxide and smoke alarm has also been fitted to the ceiling, and there’s a permanent vent fitted to the side of the van – ticking off each and every safety measure!
Our small wood burning stove is a great choice for campervans and other vehicles, as the Hobbit’s solid cast iron construction enables it to withstand any knocks and bumps that it might endure whilst you’re in transit! Our stove also has a pre-drilled hole at the corner of each foot, so that it can be easily bolted to the floor to keep it securely in place.
