Designed in Sweden, The Hultafors Trekking Axe is a more compact axe which is ideal for smaller tasks or to carry around the garden with you, perfect for chopping up small bits of kindling! It comes with a leather sheath that protects the cutting edge. The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel and the edge is hardened to make sure it is strong enough to stay sharp without breaking, but can also be sharpened. For the axe handle, Hultafors uses American hickory wood, which is exceptional in absorbing blows without breaking.
