I suppose the question should really be do I need a stove top stove fan? YES, they do work without any batteries, so operate for free but how will I benefit, and remember the fundamental question, DO I NEED A STOVE FAN?
The answer is YES, if you want to equalise the warmth produced from your wood burning stove around the room, then a stove fan is a great idea.

Stove fans are an excellent way of distributing the heat produced from your woodburning stove. This minimises the cold corners and cold ends of rooms the furthest away from the woodburner itself.
