Our new enclosure option has been specifically designed for yurt and tent installations, but it’s also a great solution if you are looking to install your stove into any other small space, such as a shepherd’s hut. It has a built-in hearth, and the holes around the base of the enclosure improve convection, helping to circulate warm air around the room. The weight of the enclosure acts as an anchoring point for your flue system, which means you won’t need to have as much support for your flue pipes. This is particularly useful when installing your Hobbit stove into a yurt or a tent. The enclosure can also act as a safety shield around your stove to stop anything from falling onto the stove.

The enclosure comes in four pieces, and it’s quick and easy to assemble. The stove and the enclosure are connected via a support brace, which bolts between the enclosure and the rear flue wedge (this part is not included with the enclosure and can be purchased separately).

Both enclosures are ideal for using our extended hotplate for extra cooking space, or even our cast iron hat! Just pop some aromatherapy water under the hat and get your bell tent smelling lovely!

Measures 550mm high, 460mm wide and 700mm deep.

Tall enclosure:

Measures 706mm high, 460mm wide and 700mm deep.

Please note: The tall enclosure is needed if you are looking to install a Hobbit stove or a Hobbit SE with our stand option.
